The entrance of a new frontal system and its mass of cold air will favor for the coming days a new decrease in minimum temperatures, especially in the southern cone of Yucatan, reports the National Water Commission (Conagua).
It is expected that the lowest values will occur in communities of southern Yucatan, as has happened on other occasions, so it is recommended that the population take the necessary precautions.
In the same way, rainfall of varying intensity will be presented in the region, as well as cloudy to partly cloudy skies.
On Thursday, Cold Front 30 spread over the region and favored rain showers to locally strong rains in the east and center of Yucatan; center and north of Quintana Roo; and, in the center of Campeche.
For Friday it is expected that the frontal system will stay on the Yucatan Peninsula and generate partly cloudy to cloudy skies with probable showers in the eastern and southern areas of Yucatan.
There will be a decrease in the minimum temperatures, so values of between 12 and 16 degrees Celsius (53 to 60 degrees F) are expected in Yucatan, without discarding records of 9 to 11 degrees in the southern cone of the state.
For this day the maximum temperatures would oscillate between 20 and 24 degrees (68 to 75 degrees F).
The winds would be northeastern component of 15 to 25 km / h with gusts of up to 45 km / h in the coastal areas of Yucatan and Campeche. For the Quintana Roo the gusts would be up to 55 km /.
