Writers’ school opens for enrollment in Merida

THE MASTERY OF TECHNICAL AND AESTHETIC LANGUAGES for the creation of new literary works will be some of the competences that will be developed by students who enroll in the Literary Training Program of the “Leopoldo Peniche Vallado” Writers’ School.

The classes, both face-to-face and virtual, will begin on May 21 and will last for two years. The training is aimed at women and men who wish to professionalize their literary skills, for which they will have the help of leading specialists in the field, recognized nationally and internationally.

The syllabus is composed of 22 subjects among which are: poetry, story, essay, novel, journalistic writing and dramatic composition, as well as scripts for cinema, radio and television.

In the case of the first modality, the classes will be taught on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 4 pm to 8 pm at the School of Writers, located on 86th Street (Avenida Itzáes) Number 501-C between Calles 59 and 65 of the Colonia Centro of Merida.
